The X-Top range is equipped with the same technologies that made its predecessor, the Airshaft range, so popular. The Airshaft section offers a honed frame geometry for a more dynamic response and higher swing speed. The shaft design is enhanced with X-Arms technology for greater racquet stability and improved aerodynamics while adding minimal weight. There are 12 enlarged string holes in specific locations on the frame (3, 9 and 12 o’clock) to stimulate string movement, improving the racquet’s tolerance for an enhanced sweet spot, allowing the player to generate more power, and increasing the spin/cut the player can apply to the ball.

The Carboflex range has been continuously improved and now, in its seventh generation, we have one of the biggest evolutions! With inspiration from professional players, Tecnifibre strives to make it the best mono-shaft racket on the market.

The 20222023 Carboflex range takes its name from Tecnifibre's groundbreaking innovation called X-Top, inspired by Mohamed El Shorbagy. A patented technology makes it possible to remove the inactive plastic material from the bumper at the top of the racket and use 100% active fibers instead. No bumper = more active fibers = 100% performance! More resistance, more speed, more power, more reactivity, more playability.

Aramid fibers (the same materials used in bulletproof vests) are used in the top of the racket for maximum shock resistance, along with a PTFE (Teflon) treatment that increases glide on wall/floor contact for maximum abrasion resistance. The new material mix provides even more resistance than a traditional bumper.

Without bumpers and integrated grommets, a perfectly streamlined frame design provides greater racket acceleration and better wall glide for exceptional swing speed. Removing the plastic bumper also reduces vibrations for greater comfort.

A unique advantage of Tecnifibre squash rackets is that they are pre-strung in a Tecnifibre string. Tecnifibre has been at the forefront of squash strings since 1980 and is used by the world's best players then and now. The Carboflex range (excluding the junior racket) is pre-strung in Tecnifibre's latest premium squash string - Dynamix VP. Polyamide fibres are upgraded with a vapour process that steams the material for higher elasticity, allowing the player to generate more power. This combined with Tecnifibre's exclusive PU 400 production, which gives the string an elasticity factor of 400%, makes Dynamix VP Tecnifibre's most powerful squash string.

The Carboflex X-Top range is designed with a sleek all-white design with bold colours on the branding and the exciting new X-Top technology. 3D decals on the shaft give the racket a premium, tactile finish.
